For those who are not at ease with french language, this is a video test of the adaptator which allows the player to plug a playstation controller on a video game console or computer bearing  an atari DE9 (or DB9 I don't really knows its real name). According to the manual, we could plug it on almost everything, like C64, SMS, atari ST, amiga 500, etc... and the amiga CD32. Because of 2 little piece around the plug, it is impossible to fit it on a Master System or an Amiga 600, but yes, it plugs well on the CD32, that was finally I bought to of them in order to play to some games in a better comfort than with the official CD32 paddle, good one but easily broken during a hadoken...
So I try the device with a few games and when operating the buttons combinaison to fix the "CD32 mode" (select, then start, then triangle and release the buttons in the same order), everything is going well, the controller is recognised like a real CD32 controller. nothing special to say about it: all is more or less perfect.
I will try to see how work the youtube fonction about audio, probably I could make an oral translation of my video.

à la demande de darius, le test en français:
Cette adaptateur permet de brancher une manette playstation sur une console ou un ordinateur munie des ports atari DE9 (ou DB9, je ne sais pas son vrai nom) et d'après la notice, ceci fonctionne à peu près toutes les machines ayant ce port atari, C64, SMS, amiga ou atari ST et surtout le CD32, raison pour laquelle j'en ai acheté 2. le souci est qu'il y a des languettes de plastique autour de la prise atari qui empêche de brancher cet adaptateur sur la master system ou l'amiga 600 mais elle se branche bien sur le CD32, ce qui permettra de jouer à des jeux CD32 dans de meilleures conditions qu'avec la manette CD32 officielle, bonne mais très fragile, ne supportant pas un hadoken bien placé avec rage.
quand on allume le CD32 et que l'on fait la bonne combinaison de boutons pour enclencher le mode CD32 (select suivi de start puis triangle et les relâcher dans le même ordre), la manette playstation est parfaitement reconnue, RAS, tout est parfait ou presque.
je le recommande à tous les amateurs de CD32.

enfin avec ta video j'ai compris qu'il faut d'abord envoyer un ordre a l'adaptateur pour qu'il se configure en CD32 c'est bien ca ?

tu as tout compris.
en fait à chaque machine compatible, il faut faire la combinaison adéquate pour faire fonctionner la manette.

il va falloir qu'on traduise son mode d'emploi aussi

au fait , on fait la manip a chaque allumage ou c'est gardé dans une memoire flash ?

j'en sais rien, je l'ai fait à chaque allumage....au cas où.

c'est a verifier , ce serait interressant pour ceux qui ne comptent pas l'utiliser sur autres chose

J'ai reçu mon adaptateur aujourd'hui meme. Je l'ai testé un peu mais dans les jours qui viennent je n'aurai pas le trop le temps de l'utiliser donc voici mes premieres impressions :

Donc je l'ai testé avec une manette PS2 sur Microcosm et Banshee sur ma CD32.
C'est parfait.

L'analogique est reconnu (ca change la vie sur Microcosm !) et les boutons sont bien disposés (1 pour le tir, 1 pour la bombe, 1 pour la carte...)

Je l'ai aussi testé sur l'amiga, et idem, j'ai essayé Turrican 2 et ca marche nickel.
J'ai essayé aussi Lion Heart et pas de probleme non plus, direction avec l'analogique ou la croix, 1 bouton pour l'épée et 1 bouton pour le saut.

C'est vraiment impressionnant comme adaptateur et je le recommande vraiment pour les fans de l'amiga !!

So I tested it with a PS2 controller on Microcosm and Banshee on my CD32.
That's perfect.

The analog is recognized (it changes life on Microcosm!) And the buttons are well laid out (1 shot, 1 bomb, 1 map ...)

I also tested on the amiga, and ditto, I tried Turrican 2 and it works nickel.
I also tried Lion Heart and no problem either direction with the analog or the cross, one button for the sword and one button for jumping.

It's really impressive as adapter and I definitely recommend it for fans of the amiga !!

I like using the analog pads on the dual shock controller :-) much better than the ps1 version.

I also have an adapter version that I have asked a few people to try out. It costs me a little bit more to make (£1.85) but does have some advantages including better amiga a600/Sega Master/c64 use without port extenders :-)

The connector for the console side is of a moulded construction...

Bon, cet adaptateur fonctionne bien (testé avec un DualShock 2), juste à signaler, de temps en temps, une petite latence apparaît, voire plus de réponse du tout, il faut donc relâcher tous les boutons (je l'ai testé sur Microcosm, donc avec à minima le bouton de tir appuyé en continu, c'est peut-être ça qui finit par saturer le tampon du composant qui fait la conversion).
Pour des jeux un peu plus cool, genre Point n'Click ou plateforme, ça doit se comporter un peu mieux.

Well, this adaptor works fine (tested on a DualShock 2 controller), I just have to mention that sometimes, it suffers a little lag, and more rarely doesn't recognizes input at all, to solve the problem I had to stop pushing any buttons for a little time (I tested it on the shmup Microcosm, thus, the fire button was active all allong, this could have saturated the buffer of the conversion chip).
For calmer games, like Point n'Click or plateform, it should not cause any trouble.
